used cartridges – HP Photosmart 8250

Filed under: Ink Cartridge — Ink Cartridges @ 1:00 am

The HP Photosmart 8250 retains the 4,800×1, 200dpi resolutions, the long-life Vivera inks, and the relatively speedy printing of its predecessor. HP Photosmart consists of an innovative reservoir system fed from six separate ink tanks. Although it functions serviceably as a speedy text printer (especially with the optional duplexing attachment), the HP Photosmart 8250′s real strength is as a personal photo lab.

HP cheap Photosmart 8250 measures 17.6 by 15 by 6.3 inches and weigh almost 19 pounds, the HP Photosmart 8250 will dominate any desktop or printer stand where it resides. This cheap Printer also contain a USB 2.0 cable, five compact color ink cartridges (cyan, magenta, yellow, light cyan and light magenta) and a larger-capacity black ink tank. Installing the HP Image Zone software and drivers takes another 10 minutes or so.

The cheap HP Photosmart 8250 in standalone mode is more convenient than printing with it from a Windows or Macintosh computer. In addition to printing from a computer, the HP Photosmart 8250 supports PictBridge-compatible digital cameras or your choice of Compact Flash I/II, SD/MMC, SmartMedia, Memory Stick, and xD-Picture cards. A big 2.5-inch LCD along with built-in preview and editing tools let you crop, zoom, brighten inky shadows, banish demon red-eyes, or print frames from video clips.

Prints obtained from this cheap printer are very good. The colors of the text are good, with realistic flesh tones and excellent saturation but a slight blue cast on some prints. There was lots of detail in highlights and shadows, and we saw little banding.

Ink Cartridge – HP Officejet Pro K5400tn: color inkjet printer

Filed under: Ink Cartridge — Ink Cartridges @ 8:14 am

The HP Officejet Pro K5400tn is a low-cost ($200), high-quality color inkjet printer targeted at small- and medium-size businesses. It’s reasonably fast, its text and graphics prints are impressive, and the ability to print photographs (though not stellar ones) is certainly a bonus. And it definitely fills a small niche. This cheap printer is best for small offices on a tight budget that don’t need certain features, such as copying or scanning, and prefer an inkjet printer over a laser one because of the ability to produce photographs.

The cheap Office jet Pro K5400tn measures 19.5 inches wide, 15 inches deep, and 8.1 inches tall, and weighs a little more than 19 pounds. Printer consists of 250 sheet input tray with adjustable paper guide. It also adds second 350 sheet paper trays. It consists of four ink cartridge, one black and three colors. A black page printed from this cheap printer costs about 1.5 cents per page and 6 cents per page for color. K5400tn does not contain an auto duplexer for double sided printing.

Text print quality is very good for an inkjet printer. The text was a rich black and characters were formed well. “Near laser” is an appropriate description; the K5400tn’s text prints were better than those of nearly all the multifunction inkjet printers. The graphics print revealed smooth color gradients along with pleasing color saturation and accuracy. HP Officejet Pro K5400tn is good for the occasional photo that may serve as a reference, perhaps for a small insurance company or a real estate agent.

Ink cartridge Abstract

An ink cartridge includes an ink pack 21 which discharges ink from an ink outlet 22 upon reception of pressure by air pressure; an outer case 20a, 20b which houses the ink pack 21 therein with the ink outlet 22 exposed so that the ink pack 21 can be pressurized by the air pressure, and includes a pressurized air inlet 23 that is connectable to an air source for pressurizing the ink pack 21; and a pressure adjusting unit 30 which is housed in the outer case and discharges air in the outer case to the outside so that pressure in space of the outer case is kept at a setting value. The setting value of the pressure adjusting unit 30 is set to an optimum value for each ink cartridge, whereby the ink pack can be pressurized in an optimum state regardless of the air pressure from the pressurized air inlet 23.
